MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS IN POMARKU MUNICIPALITY 2025
The municipal elections will be held on Sunday, April 13.4.2025, 9.00. Voting on election day will be held from 20.00:14 a.m. to 21:XNUMX p.m. The entire municipality of Pomarkku is one voting area and the polling place is the Pomarkku Municipal Office, at Vanhatie XNUMX. XNUMX councilors will be elected to the municipal council.
Early voting
The general advance voting location is the Pomarkku Municipal Office (lobby), Vanhatie 14. Advance voting will be held from April 2.4 to April 8.4.2025, XNUMX, according to the following voting times:
on Mondays and Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 17 p.m
on Wednesdays from 10:18 a.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m
on Thursdays from 10:17 to XNUMX:XNUMX
on Fridays from 10 a.m. to 14 p.m
on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 15 p.m.
To speed up voting, voters are asked to bring a document proving their identity (e.g. a driver's license, passport or other official document with a photo) and the notification card mailed to eligible voters before the election. The times of advance voting at the institutions will be announced separately on the institutions' notice boards.
Home voting
A person entitled to vote whose ability to move or act is limited to such an extent that he or she cannot reach the polling station or advance voting place without unreasonable difficulties may vote in advance at home in the municipality that is entered in the voting rights register as his or her municipality of residence. In connection with home voting, a caregiver referred to in the Act on Support for Informal Care (937/2005) living in the same household as the person entitled to vote in the voting rights register may also vote, if the municipality in question is entered in the voting rights register as his or her municipality of residence. Other family members of the person entitled to vote may not vote in connection with home voting. Candidate applications and other documents regarding the nomination of candidates will be accepted at the Pomarkku Municipal Office by election officer Pirjo Schultze during the following times:

Friday 28.2. from 10:14 a.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m
Mon 3.3. from 10 to 15

Candidate nomination documents can also be submitted to Heidi Särkipaju, Secretary of the Central Election Board, at the Municipal Office during the following times:

In addition to the above times, candidate nomination documents can be submitted electronically to the Secretary of the Central Election Board at heidi.sarkipaju@pomarkku.fi or by Suomi.fi message. The documents must be received no later than 4.3.2025 March 16.00 before XNUMX:XNUMX p.m.
The combination of candidate lists will be published on the municipality's website and on the municipal office's notice board in week 12.
