Anonymous reporting channel for suspected abuse
Pomarkku uses a so-called abuse system in accordance with the EU directive. Whistleblower reporting channel.
Unethical behavior and abuse reported on the channel can be of varying degrees: negligent or incompetent, intentional or even criminal acts or omissions. The suspicion of abuse can be directed at an individual official, employee or trusted person or, for example, at the provision of municipal services, procurement, contracts or decision-making.
Report anonymously or with a name
The reporting channel can be used by people who are in contact with the municipality due to their work: current or former employees and office holders, job seekers, self-employed persons such as suppliers, elected officials and interns.
The report can be made anonymously or the person reporting it can provide their contact information if they wish. The more detailed the report, the better the investigation of possible suspected abuse can be carried out. The municipality will investigate possible abuses based on the reports, if the reports prove to be justified. The reporting system may not be used for improper purposes.

Reporting and monitoring
The reports submitted are processed by the administrative manager.
The handlers must process the report within seven days of the report. The reporter must receive feedback on the report within three months of the report. All reports are processed, but please note that we can only provide feedback on nominal reports.
