There are three family daycare providers in our municipality. Family daycare is carried out in a small group in the caregiver's own home. Family daycare activities are carried out in accordance with the early childhood education plan. An early childhood education plan is also drawn up for the child in family daycare.
A municipal family daycare provider may have a maximum of four children of different ages in full-time care and one preschool-aged or school-aged child in part-time care. The family daycare provider's own children under school age are included. The caregiver prepares food for the children, and the children can participate in small household chores.
Family daycare workers and the staff of Kivisilla Daycare work together in raising children. When the family daycare worker is sick or on vacation, the children come to Kivisilla Daycare for backup care. The emergency care phone number is 040 621 4191. (Vipeltäjät). Family daycare also participates in all events and trips offered by the municipality for early childhood education.
Applying for a place in family daycare is done through Daisy Family. Daisy Family is the official communication channel for family daycare, through which you can also book care times for your child.
